- Create and maintain a professional and motivated workforce that is adequately trained in all aspects of safe commodity handling accompanied with a policy of recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
- Observe all industry HSEQ Laws and Regulations of our republic and wherever we collect and or deliver products and other goods.
- Through effective participation, management involvement and commitment HAGU shall create and sustain Safe road transport HSEQ awareness and culture in the organization.
- Maintain an incident free environment by eliminating all risks and product related incidents by making all employees fully responsible and accountable for HSEQ.
- Commitment to an Alcohol and Drug free workplace together with a program to ensure compliance, any breach of the set company laws shall be meted with strict disciplinary actions without bias or favors.
- Company shall put in place an effective emergency preparedness action plan and response program(s) to promptly and effectively attend to incidents in case they arise.
- All employees shall maintain safe products/good transport measures through proper selection and maintenance schedules of their respective equipment’s.
- Prevent all injuries and ill health by investigating root causes of all the incidents, accidents, near misses and develop effective and immediate preventive remedial actions.
- Identify and maintain inventory of all hazards, conduct risk assessment and establish their control continually.
- Establish and maintain an alcohol and drugs free workplace together with a program to ensure total compliance every step of the way.
- Maintain safe fleet through proper selection and design of trucks, supported by an effective preventive maintenance program, and most Importantly continually improve general fleet condition to ensure efficiency and better resource management while
undertaking our deliveries. - Prevent environment pollution that may be attributable to our operations and otherwise seek to minimize waste and impacts to natural resources. Environment supports life and hence taking good care of it ensures improve quality of life.
We continually monitor our processes and procedure to ensure we continually adapt to best logistical processes, better efficiency and better management action plans.
