Scope of our code of conduct:
HAGU- TRANSPORTERS LTD has set expectations for all suppliers that are registered to engage in any form of business with any of its subsidiaries, it is expected that all suppliers providing good and services to all our branches adhere to our set conduct as stipulated in the below summary.
1.Freedom of Association/Assembly:
Hagu Transporters expects its suppliers to recognize the right of workers to freely defend their rights and bargain for their interests and their perceived better services/rights whenever need arises without discrimination of any kind whatsoever and to join trade unions at will so as to help in airing their grievances at will.
2. Child Labour:
Hagu does not condone child labor, a child being any person under the age of 18 years which is the recognized age of acquiring maturity. Proof of age of employees should be traceable.
3. Respect for Human right:
Any unequal treatment in whichever form –gender, language, religion, political of any other forms of discrimination will not be tolerated from our suppliers.
4. Forced labor, Human trafficking and slavery:
All employment forms are voluntary and free will, any form of ill treatment, use of violence, forced labour, exploitation, use of threats and excessive long working duration or withholding of salaries, identification documents or any personal documents are not going to be tolerated from anyone we engage with in any form.
5. Appropriate working conditions:
All suppliers should ensure a safe and non-harmful working environment, provision of clean, tidy and a safe working condition should be a mandatory requirement.
5. Safety:
Suppliers should aware of all risks at their workplace and take all necessary actions to reduce risks of accidents or emergencies
6. Ethical conduct
- Anti-Corruption:
Hagu Transport expects its employees and suppliers to adhere to ethical conduct while undertaking respective tasks, any form of unethical dealings will not be tolerated. The supplier must ensure that no obligations occurs based on bribery or any other form of illegal payment.
Hagu transport does not allow its employees to receive or - issue any form of gift or hospitality in order to influence a decision I any way.
- Privacy and data security:
The supplier must protect the personal data of its customers, all information must only be accessible by authorized individuals only
